FAQ
Solo Traveller
Does Triphaus store the documents I upload?
No. You upload a PDF, screenshot, or photo — Triphaus extracts the travel details and stores only those. The original file is deleted from the server immediately after processing. Your documents are never retained.
What file types can I upload?
PDF booking confirmations, photos, and screenshots all work. Triphaus AI reads the content and extracts dates, times, locations, and reference numbers automatically.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The free plan includes 1 manual trip with the full Bauhaus itinerary view in all 7 languages. AI document parsing is not part of the free plan — it starts with the one-time Basic purchase.
What languages does the AI support?
Seven: English, German, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, and Ukrainian. You can switch the app language at any time in Settings. The AI responds in whichever language you have active.
Group & Family Travel
Can I share a trip with my partner or travel group?
Not yet — live trip sharing is on the roadmap. Today each traveller keeps their own copy of a trip; they can still use AI to parse their own booking documents. Link sharing and device-to-device handoff are planned — check the App Store for updates when they ship.
Can I share a packing list with the group?
Packing lists are included in every plan, including Free. You can build a list per trip, add and check off items, and save reusable templates. Collaborative sharing is on the roadmap.
How do I manage my purchase?
Triphaus uses one-time purchases — there is no subscription to cancel. To view your purchase history, open the App Store → tap your profile → Purchased. If you need a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Long Stays & Nomads
How does Triphaus handle currency conversion?
In v1 you can add currency notes to any trip step manually. Automatic live conversion is planned for a future update.
Can I track visa expiry dates?
Not yet — a dedicated visa field with expiry reminders is on the roadmap. Until then, you can note visa dates in any step's details.
Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?
Your trips are stored on your iPhone. The AI parsing runs through the Triphaus server, which holds your files only for the duration of the request — nothing is retained server-side.
Who can see my trips?
Only you, unless you explicitly share a trip link. Triphaus has no social feed, no public profiles, and no passive data sharing. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
